Scope : We are a meritocracy that favors neither gender, nor age, nor experience, nor education, nor company position when assessing individual value, career advancement, or company appreciation. It is in this spirit that we pronounce that every stakeholder in Venture Fidelis will adhere to the same rules, procedures, and regulations; the newest employee has the same rights and recourse as the company’s senior leadership and that of its Innventure subsidiary chiefs. There is no separate code of conduct for senior leadership. Executives are expected to behave with the same pride and integrity as the most junior employee. Conversely, the newest employee is expected to behave with the same integrity and pride as the Chief Executive Officer.
Purpose : At Venture Fidelis, we have very few rules, but those that we have we expect everyone to enforce and everyone to adhere to. Our Core Commitments are expected to guide and inspire each Venture Fidelis stakeholder (shareholders, employees, Innventure Subsidiaries) to expect the same value from the company as they put in to it. We recognize that when we leave for home after a fun days work we do not cease to be a Venture Fidelis employee; therefore, what we do while “off duty” reflects on our company. Due to the nature of our company and the risks we are encouraged to take on behalf of value creation and innovation, our employees will be forgiven almost anything, except :
- Harassment of any kind toward any employee
- Illegal drug use or distribution, or illegal activity of any kind
- A flagrant disregard for our Core Commitments and Core Values
- Fraud
- Disrespecting the San Francisco 49ers while in the presence of the CEO, Dorien Michaels
Obviously no negative action will be taken against anyone for violating number five, but unless you want a debate as to why you’re wrong and will always be wrong, you are here by warned not to violate number five.
